Driver's Education

Overview

Driver's Education is provided by Jordan Driving School and registration is now located on their website.  All classes are on a first-come, first serve basis with a max capacity of 50 students.  Students must be at least 14 and 1/2 years of age to be eligible to take the driver's education class.

Students must follow a 3-step process in order to be registered:

Step 1 (Registration): Complete the Registration Form at JDS Carolina Website (This form will automatically close once capacity is reached.) An email will be sent once class is closed. It is critical that the correct email is entered in this form in order to ensure that you receive communication regarding this course. Note: If the link is closed, check back for the next class registration cycle (usually open 30 days prior to the next class).

Step 2 (Payment): The course is $45.00 and must be paid prior to the start of the class.

  • Online payments are now available through SchoolCash Online.  A $2.00 convenience fee is added to this method, for a total of $47.00.  You will need to open your digital receipt to receive your receipt number (SCO########) to record during Step 3.   PAY HERE *Please include student's first/last name and month of class on the line asking "who are you purchasing this for?"
  • Cash/check payments should be made at the front office of NBHS; checks should be made payable to "NBHS".   Your receipt number will be required during Step 3.
  • You may be eligible for a fee waiver if you qualify for free or reduced lunch status.  If so, please complete the CCS Fee Waiver Form and turn it in to the NBHS Front Office or email to the Bookkeeper at Charleen.Lukasiewicz@cravenk12.org. You will still be required to complete Step 3, using "WAIVER" as your receipt number.

Step 3 (Verification): Submit proof of payment on the Receipt Verification Form. Complete this only after completing registration and payment

Note: Failure to complete all steps in the correct order may result in a student not being enrolled into the class
