In order to attend New Bern High School, students must be domiciled within the established boundaries. These boundaries are determined by Craven County GIS.
Address verification (Proof of Residence) is to ensure compliance with board Policy 4120: Domicile or Residence Requirements.
Craven County Schools requires 100% student address verification. In order to efficiently accomplish this goal at New Bern High School, Proof of Residence should be submitted on the Parent HUB.

- Residential Lease
- Must show a current lease period and/or month-to-month
- Utility Bill (Must show current billing date)
- Electric
- Water
- Natural Gas
- Cable/Fiber Internet
- Notarized Domicile Affidavit
- Used if the family is sharing a residence
- Must be accompanied by one of the above documents
- Notary services for this document are not offered at NBHS
- Homeless Services (McKinney-Vento) can be found on the CCS Website
- Out of District or Out of County must apply through the Reassignment/Discretionary Assignment Process with Craven County Board of Education
