Transportation

Bus route information (if requested) is available on the Infinite Campus app.

Once assigned, you can track the daily bus route:

• Download the "Here Comes the Bus" mobile application
• 5-digit School Code: 81462

Assistant Principal, Mrs. Monkea Bryant, oversees transportation.  Any questions should be directed to him via email at Monkea.Bryant@cravenk12.org

Please note that Craven County Schools manages transportation for New Bern High School; new routes may take 3-5 school days to be updated.  Please review the CCS Transportation page for detailed information.

Bus Rider Removal Guidelines (per CCS)

Bus drivers will note student bus riders that do not ride for 10 consecutive days. These student riders will be removed from their bus routes during the monthly bus route revision process. To get your student back onto a bus, please fill out and return a bus request form to your school of attendance. It may take up to 3 school days for a new assignment to be made.

If you plan to park on campus for the 2026-2027 school year, you will need to register your vehicles and pay for your parking pass.

• Students who do not yet have their license will be able to register LATER, when they do have their license.

• Information you will need in order to register:
  • Student ID Number
  • License Number
  • License Plate
  • Make & model of all vehicles you plan to register - If you ever plan to drive another vehicle (parents', siblings', etc.), please make sure to register that vehicle as well.
• Filling out the Registration Form:
  • NOTE: You may not register for parking until you have a valid license (NO PERMITS!).
  • Step 1: Pay for your Parking Spot (MUST use this specific link)
    • Screenshot below is an example of the payment link
    • UNCHECK the "Myself" button
    • Input STUDENT NAME in the box provided (Last Name, First Name)
  • Step 2: TAKE A SCREENSHOT of your payment receipt (you will need this in Step 3)
  • Step 3: Fill out the Parking Registration Form
    • You must be logged into your STUDENT GOOGLE ACCOUNT in order to register.
    • If you send a share request from a personal account, or if your parents try to register under their personal accounts, the share request will be ignored.  
    • You must upload proof of payment BEFORE you are allowed to choose your parking spot.
    • Students of NBHS Staff just need to upload a photo of their parents' school ID.
