New Students

Registration for the 2026-27 school year is now open via Infinite Campus.  The first day of school is Monday, August 24th, 2026.

Infinite Campus OLR

This link will take you to a short form to register your email address.  You will then receive a follow-up email with a specific link to register your student.  If you are registering multiple students in multiple schools, you will be able to accomplish this through one registration submission.

Registration Process

The steps for registration are as follows:

1. Registration. Complete the OLR process at the link above.  Ensure that you have all documents requested, to ensure your student' registration is not delayed. Once you complete the OLR, an email will be sent to the Registrar.  If you have difficulty with uploading documents, you may email the Registrar (Adam.Miller@cravenk12.org)
2. Registration Documents.  Ensure the following documents are available during registration:
   1. Establish Residency
      1. Proof of Residence (Lease/Mortgage Statement, Utility Bill)
      2. If a shared residence, complete a Domicile Affidavit along with above Proof of Residence.
   2. Establish Guardianship
      1. Proof of Age (normally a Birth Certificate)
      2. Copies of Parent/Guardian ID
      3. Custody Documents, if applicable
   3. Immunizations and NC Health Assessment
3. Records Request.  As part of the process, the Registrar will request records from your student's prior school.  You may provide copies to the Registrar, but they are not official until received from the school.  Providing contact information, especially email, will speed up the ability to request records.
4. Course Selection.  Once all documents are received, including the records from the prior school, you will receive a "Welcome" email from the Registrar with a New Student Checklist.  Please complete the checklist to ensure your student is ready for the first day of school.

5. Course Schedule.  Final course schedules will be available to view on Infinite Campus as soon as they are created by your student's counselor.  Your "Welcome" email will include a Parent Portal Access Code, which will allow you to see your student's schedule.  Students will not be able to view their scheudule until the system recognizes them after their first day of enrollment.  This process usually takes 24-48 hours.  More detailed information is provided on the New Student Checklist.

Registration for the 2025-26 school year is still open via Infinite Campus.  Our 2nd Semester began on January 8th, 2026.  Once you complete the Registration process, please email the Registrar with your intended start date. 

*Note: High School students will not be scheduled for classes until records have been received from the previous school, including transfer grades.

• Legible copy of child’s birth certificate

• Copy of valid photo ID or driver’s license of parent or legal guardian(s)

  • If guardian is not listed on the birth certificate, guardianship must be established by one of the following documents:

    • Legal custody documentation papers

    • Notarized Affidavit of Caregiver 

    • Notarized Affidavit of Parent 

• Proof of Residence (Review Address Verification requirements)

• Health or Immunization records

• NC Health Assessment (Not enrolled in NC school for the previous year)

• Transcripts will be requested from previous school, except:

  • Homeschool Transcript -  will be evaluated by Guidance Counselor

  • International Transcript - will be evaluated by Guidance Counselor

School Tours are not offered while school is in session.

2026-27 Summer tours will be provided to allow for incoming students to view common areas of the school and ask questions of a Guidance Counselor or other school staff.  Student schedules will not be available during tours.  Orientation/Open House is tentatively scheduled for August 18th, in the evening.

First day of class for the 2025-26 school year is Monday, August 25th.

The instructional school day runs from 7:20 until 2:40 daily.

Early checkout is authorized until 30 minutes prior to the end of the school day (2:10 on a regular day).  This is a Craven County Schools policy and is strictly enforced. 

1st Semester: 8/26/25 - 12/19/25

2nd Semester: 1/8/26 - 5/21/26

Graduation: Friday 5/22

• Funds need to be deposited into the student's account
• Free/Reduced Lunch application can be submitted via LINQ
  • Apply — Go to https://linqconnect.com and click Start Meal Application.
  • Log In — If you have already registered for a LINQ Connect account and have logged in, you can click on Start Meal Application.

Health Assessment

Students who have not been previously enrolled in Craven County Schools must have a NC New Student Health Assessment completed by a physician, as well as up-to-date immunizations.  Please review the School Nurse page for documentation requirements and contact information.  All medical documentation can be emailed directly to the School Nurse.
