Student Achievements

New Bern High School is proud of our students and their many accomplishments. Through a commitment education, the faculty strives to create a learning environment for all students to reach success. Each year we have several Morehead Nominees and National Merit Scholars. 30% of our students qualify for the NC Scholars Program; 75% of our students are involved in secondary education upon graduating (40% attend a 4 year college and 35% attend a 2 year college). 59% of our students take the SAT. Our average SAT score is 1043 compared to a state average of 1004 and a national average of 1017.
