School Information

New Bern High School is accredited by the NC Department of Public Instruction and the Southern Association of College and Secondary Schools. We serve approximately 160 staff serving 1,750 students in grades 9 – 12. The student population is a diverse group representing a wide range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. African American students (38%), Caucasian students (61%), and remaining student population include Asian, Hispanic, and American Indian. We also host foreign exchange students from around the world.
