Curriculum

New Bern High School operates on a 4 x 4 block schedule. We offer many Honors level courses various subjects. Course offerings inclyude English, US History, World
History, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Pre-Calculus, Latin, Spanish, JROTC, Band, Chorus, Theater, and Art.

Advanced Placement courses including English Language, English Literature, US History, World History, Government & Politics, Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Calculus, Statistics, Spanish Lit and Spanish Language.

New Bern High School also offers college credit through a partnership with Craven Community College that allows students to take concurrent enrollment courses.
